Samsung is planning to launch its robust smartphone, the Galaxy XCover 7, in the Indian market. The device’s support page is now live on Samsung India’s official website, indicating an upcoming launch following its recent global launch.
In November 2023, the Galaxy XCover 7 (model number “SM-G556B”) got BIS certification. This certification revealed the smartphone’s impending release in India. In addition, the smartphone has obtained approvals in Thailand and Malaysia. Since the support page is already in place, an official statement from Samsung is anticipated in India shortly.
With an IP68 water-resistant rating and compliance with MIL-STD-810H requirements, the Galaxy XCover 7 is durable and built for years of use. Gorilla Glass Victus+ enhances resistance to harm and protects the display.
The 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT screen on the device which improves touch sensitivity so it can be used while wearing gloves. It runs on a processor that is reportedly a 6nm octa-core called the Dimensity 6100+. The Galaxy XCover 7 will run on Android 14 with One UI 6.
