The iQOO Z9 is the new Z series smartphone device that iQOO is developing. Following our recent coverage of various reports about this gadget, a well-known tipster has now disclosed the Z9 5G’s display specs. So let’s look into this in detail.
iQOO Z9 Display Specs tipped on Weibo by DCS
Digital Chat Station provided the news, where the user posted on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging forum. According to the forum post, the company’s iQOO Z9 would reportedly boast an OLED display panel with 1.5K resolution. The iQOO Z9 5G, which has the model number I2302, was first surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification website only last week.
Additionally, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity has been confirmed by this listing. The certification surfacing suggests that the device’s release is almost here. The iQOO Z9’s chipset details were also disclosed in a different source that surfaced at the end of last month(January 2024). It is anticipated that the MediaTek Dimensityu 8300 SoC will be powering the Chinese model of the iQOO Z9. This smartphone is the immediate successor of the iQOO Z8, which debuted with the Dimensity 8200 chipset back in September of 2023.
Although the Z8 featured a larger 5,000mAh battery pack, it looks like the Z9 might have an increased capacity. We could anticipate upgrades in various parts of the Z9. The 120W quick charger that is supported by the Z8 will probably be used in the latest upcoming model as well. The 64-megapixel dual camera arrangement on the back may be improved in the upcoming Z9. Note that these are all only hypotheses or rumors, so for the time being, consider this news with caution.
