Minty Fresh Color Option will be released for Google Pixel 8 Series
Google first unveiled the Google Pixel 8 series in October 2023 at that time Pro model was released in Obsidian, Porcelain, and Bay colors, while the vanilla variant was available in Obsidian, Hazel, and Rose. But Google has now revealed that a new color option for the series is on the way.
The company’s official Twitter account made the announcement, hinting at the arrival of a “Fresh year, fresh drop” with a binary sequence. The link attached in the post takes viewers to the Google Store page which contains a preview video that shows off the future color choice by displaying the phrase “itsaliving” in Mint Green.
Google has collaborated with the artist @itsaliving to host a mural painting event in New York City downtown on January 25, 2024, the same day as the color reveal.
The Pixel 8 series was unveiled in October of 2023 and comprises two smartphones at the moment. But now a new variant Pixel 8a is expected to be released later in 2024 as the third variant of the Pixel 8 series. Up Until next week, the exact models that will be receiving the Minty Fresh color option are still undisclosed.

In case the Pixel 8 series is new to you, the Pro model has a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, a Google Tensor G3 4 nm CPU, 12GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. The camera configuration of the device consists of a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 48MP telephoto lens with 5 times optical zoom, and a 50MP primary back camera. The phone runs on Android 14 OS.
Along with other security features like face unlock and an in-display fingerprint scanner, the gadget comes with a 5050mAh battery that can be charged quickly by 30 W fast charging.
Google Pixel 8
The base variant of the series i.e. Pixel 8 phone comes a a 6.2-inch OLED screen, Google Tensor G3 4 nm Chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB or 128GB of internal storage options. This phone also runs on Android 14 OS. Its camera configuration consisted of a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 50MP primary rear camera. The base variant has the same security features as its Pro variant and has a 4575mAh battery. Both phones are available in many color options and are IP68 dust and water-resistant.
