Google Pixel 8 Pro Gets Body Temperature Tracking Feature in the Latest Update

The new Mint color option available for the Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro was announced by announced by Google recently. Now the most recent Pixel Feature Drop added new features to the higher-end model. The much-anticipated feature for tracking the body temperature is now available on the Pixel 8 Pro.

Google Pixel 8 Pro can measure the Body Temperature after the latest update

The most recent Pixel feature drop from the industry leader in search engines included functionality for biomonitoring. The Pixel 8 Pro has the ability to measure the temperature of a human being. It is a “medical-grade feature,” according to the official report, thus the FDA may have officially approved it. Users of the Pixel 8 Pro may now take a forehead temperature scan using the Thermometer app in the most recent update.

In order to allow more accurate tracking of your health, the app let you to save this data to your Fitbit profile. Google claims that this feature provides accurate human body temperature reading. However, this claim has not yet been verified with a thermometer. The sensor uses infrared radiation for determining the body temperature.

The sensor used in the feature can detect temperatures from -20 degrees Celsius to up to 200 degrees Celsius.

How to measure body temperature using Pixel 8 pro Smartphone

  1. Open the rear camera on your smartphone
  2. Point the camera at the person’s forehead.
  3. Move the camera across the forehead to take readings
