Google using AI to answer questions about their products

Google using AI to answer about their products, Generally a company’s website has enough information regarding their product or services which allows user to go through it and received the information user needs, but what if in a case users have more queries? That’s where FAQs come into play, but it appears that the Google is attempting to leverage its investment in artificial intelligence by launching a new “AI support assistant” functionality.

9to5Google has released a report that Google has announced the launch of a new AI support assistant functionality on several of its Help pages. Basically this is a chatbot similar to chatgpt where consumers can interact with an AI assistant to ask it questions about Google’s own products and services that you may not be familiar with or of you have any doubts.

While artificial intelligence chatbots that are trained of large language models are not new, but most of them are still “dumb” in the sense that either you have to just choose questions from a pre defined list of questions or you have to use very particular syntaxes to ask it a question. With the usage of AI, particularly with Google’s deployment of large language models, users/consumers will be able to chat with the AI chatbot assistant similar to chatgpt using natural language and feel as if they are conversing with a human.

Currently this “AI support assistant” does not appear to be a fully functioning feature. Google says that AI support assistant is “still learning” and with eash response, users may assess or rate how helpful it was allowing Google to learn and improve their AI support assistant. It’s quite interesting and frankly, we wouldn’t be shocked if AI chatbots become a standard feature on many websites in the future.
