Honor returned to India as HTech last September with the launch of Honor 90 after a 3-year break. The Honour X9b was initially announced in October last year. The company announced its goal to focus on segment-first features in their smartphones. Now it seems that the company is planning to release the Honor X9b in India.
Madhav Sheth the India Head, released a teaser on X/twitter, where he shared a video. In the video, Madhav unboxes a new smartphone to tease about the upcoming launch of the X9b. The smartphone in the video has a circular camera module at the back, which is similar to the X9b which was released in China a few weeks back.
He didn’t reveal the smartphone’s name, but as per the design, it is X9b unveiled last October.
Honor X9b is one of the mid-range smartphones which has a 6.78 inch, 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen which offers a 1.5K resolution. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, and boots Android 13 MagicUI 7.2. It has 12GB RAM and 256GM internal storage. The device comes with a massive battery of 5,800 mAh and 35W fast charging.
The phone features a 108MP triple camera on the back, a 16MP selfie camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Additional special features are WIFI 6, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, NFC chip, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The company hasn’t announced the phone’s launch date in India yet. In China, the Honour X9b is priced at CNY 1999, which is roughly 23,700 INR. In India, we can expect that the gadget would cost around Rs 30,000.
