Huawei Nova 12i gets NBTC certification
With the launch of the Huawei Nova 12i, the company plans to add more models to its Nova 12 lineup. Having made its debut in China last year, this series has since expanded to include the Huawei Nova 12, Nova 12 Pro, Nova 12 Ultra, and a Lite version. Huawei is indicating that it intends to provide its customers even more options with the upcoming Nova 12i.
The image of Nova 12i surfaced on Global Certification Forum (GCF), indicates that Huawei is preparing to release this new smartphone. Additionally, it was spotted with the model number CTR-L81 on National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification website, suggesting an imminent launch. Although not providing much details, the NBTC listing does confirm that the Nova 12i is indeed on its way.
There isn’t much information available currently regarding the Nova 12i, including its features or its exact date of release. Nevertheless, we know that the gadget will only support 4G connectivity. We could look at the Huawei Nova 12 Lite to get some idea of what to expect from the Nova 12i.

The Nova 12 Lite has FHD+ resolution (2412 x 1084 pixels) for 6.7-inch OLED display. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor and it comes with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
It has a Snapdragon 778G 4G CPU under the hood for powering, and storage options are 256GB and 512GB. The smartphone comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports 66W swift charging and is operated on HarmonyOS 4.
The Nova 12 Lite contains three cameras: a macro, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP primary camera. There is a 60MP ultra-wide lens on the front camera for selfies.
