It seems that Huawei is going to release its new flagship smartphone P70 series shortly. These upcoming premium devices are expected to be released in the first half of 2024, as reportedly by a tipster. Here are all the specifics, then.
Huawei P70 series launch Date
A Weibo user(fixed focus digital) who tipped claims that the P70 series will be released by the Chinese tech giant possibly around the end of Q1 i.e. in March 2024 or at the start of April 2024. The source of the release timeline, according to the tipster, is trustworthy and accurate. But for the time being, consider this story to be unverified, so proceed with caution. According to the information that we have as of now, Chinese OLED panels from BOE, COST, Tianma, and Visionax are anticipated to be used in the Huawei P70 series.
However, the display will only have a 1.5K resolution rather than the typical 2K resolution found in high-end gadgets. The Kirin 9000S chipset is suspected to be powering the P70 underneath. The Mate 60 series is powered by the same processor. For those who don’t know, Huawei’s flagship phones with an emphasis on photography are the P series.
Another leak earlier last month also exposed the design of the P70 series. There are rumors that the rear will include a new OmniVision OV50H sensor in addition to a 1-inch Sony IMX989 main camera. The Oppo Find X6 Pro and other devices use this same sensor, the IMX989.
