iQOO Neo 10 series’s new member will feature SDG3 SoC
In April, iQOO is planning to release a new Z series of smartphones in the domestic market of China. The newly released will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which is effectively a scaled-down version of the premium Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which will power this new Z9 series smartphone. With that being said, leaker DCS has disclosed that the company also intends to launch a mid-range smartphone featuring an iQOO Neo 10 series Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
This new smartphone, which is likely to be the iQOO Neo 10 or Neo 10 Pro, is believed to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, according to tipster DCS. Despite the fact that the Redmi K70 Pro is already on the market, this mid-ranger may yet give serious competition to the K70 Pro. According to the tipster, this new gadget will have a 1.5K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate that uses an 8T LTPO screen with flicker reduction technology.
The phone is rumored to include 120W fast charging capabilities along with a 50MP dual camera setup. Additionally, according to DCS, the gadget will include a metal mid-frame finish in either glass or vegan leather. Pricing will probably be the main area of debate between the K70 Pro and the iQOO Neo 10 series.
The iQOO Neo 9 smartphone, which has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, was released for CNY 2,299 (~$318), whereas the Redmi K70 Pro, which features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, launched for CNY 3,299 (~$456). With the flagship chip, the price will undoubtedly rise, but how much will probably be a deciding factor for how well-liked the phone will be.
