The company started teasing about the iQOO Neo 9 Pro’s upcoming arrival in the country after its iQOO 12 5G launch. China received the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets, respectively in December. According to multiple rumors, the Neo 9 Pro that launched in India could be a rebranded Neo 9 that was first released in China.
Expected specifications for the iQOO Neo 9 Pro include a 6.78-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and 1.5K resolution. The device will have an under-display fingerprint sensor and run Android 14 based on FunTouch OS 14.
In the camera specs: the Neo 9 Pro will include a 16 MP selfie or video call camera on the front. The back side of the phone will have an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 50 MP Sony IMX920 primary camera with OIS capability.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will power the iQOO Neo 9 Pro underneath. The phone will have a 5,160mAh battery with 120W rapid charging. Up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM might be included in the gadget. Additional features like two speakers and an infrared blaster are expected.
