Elon Musk recently tweeted that he would be “up for a cage fight” with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. In reaction, the CEO of Meta uploaded a screenshot of Musk’s remark with the caption “send me location.” According to reports, Zuckerberg’s Instagram post was serious, and Musk is now in charge. According to Iska Saric, a Meta spokeswoman, “the story speaks for itself.”
Musk’s two-word comment to the release of this piece was “Vegas Octagon.” Then, on Twitter, he claimed, “I have this great skill that I call ‘The Walrus,’ where I simply lie on top of my rival’s body and do nothing at all.”
Since sources revealed new information about Meta’s planned Twitter rival, Musk has been teasing Zuckerberg on Twitter with zingers like “Zuck my ” During a recent internal all-hands meeting, Meta’s chief product officer Chris Cox stated that the business believes creators want a “sanely run” version of Twitter. Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg commented on a recent podcast with Lex Fridman, “I’ve always believed that Twitter deserved a billion users.”
He also claims to have completed the strenuous “Murph Challenge” workout in under 40 minutes.
Musk vs. Zuckerberg would be the best-case scenario for affluent tech CEOs to engage in a fight. Musk, 51, is taller than Zuckerberg and has admitted to partaking in “real hard-core street fights” while growing up in South Africa. In the meantime, 39-year-old MMA hopeful Zuckerberg is dominating Jiu-Jitsu events.
