Motorola has begun to tease the release of its next smartphone. It is scheduled to launch on April 3. Regarding the device’s actual name and specifications, the Lenovo-owned company hasn’t disclosed anything yet. The most recent teaser of the mystery phone’s processor has now been revealed by Motorola. It can also be an indication that the device will be in the midrange.
Forthcoming Motorola phone’s CPU confirmed Could Be Edge 50 Fusion
It is reported that under the hood the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 CPU would be powering the forthcoming mystery Motorola phone. The smartphone will be offered in a Violet color option, as the teaser secretly revealed.
We anticipate that fast wired or possibly wireless charging will be supported by the upcoming device. The phone’s curved display and the same color were also validated by a different teaser. On the rear panel, we could also see an elevated camera island.
The forthcoming Motorola phone name is still unknown. However, it is expected to be called the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. That doesn’t appear to be the case, though, as it is a flagship device with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. It can also be a rebranded Moto X50 Ultra, which will make its debut in China in April next month. We believe that the forthcoming Motorola smartphone is the Edge 50 Fusion based on the most recent confirmation about the CPU.
The Edge series from Motorola has a common design language, however the devices differ in terms of specifications. Key specifications for the Edge 50 Fusion were made public yesterday by leaker Evan Blass. Though, instead of mentioning the confirmed Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, he mentioned the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1.
The Lenovo-owned company did not unveil the Edge Fusion in the previous year, and the future product may be the Edge 30 Fusion’s replacement, which made its debut in 2022.
