OnePlus is set to release its flagship series globally in the next two weeks. On January 23 the company is hosting a launch event. It is already confirmed that OnePlus 12 will be available in India on Amazon. The phone has already been released in China. The global phone variant will also come with the same specs. The unknown details are pricing and configurations.
The price for one of the variants has now leaked before an official launch of the smartphone in India.
Accidentally OnePlus 12 India price leak
Ishan Agarwal, a tipster, reported that the OnePlus 12 was listed on Amazon India for some time. It is removed now. But at that time he took the screenshot and shared it on X/twitter which has important information about the OnePlus’s upcoming phone. The OnePlus 12 shown in the image has 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The price mentioned is Rs 69,999. Also please notice that this is MRP, but the actual retail price will mostly be lower than this, as there is always one or another discount available.
In OnePlus 12 there is no 8GB +128GB variant as per the previous reports. The phone will have a 16GB + 512GB variant.
The starting price of the OnePlus 11 5G for the 8GB + 128GB variant was Rs 56,999, while the price of the 16GB + 256GB variant was Rs 61,999. The OnePlus 12’s cost seems to increased significantly over its predecessor for the base variant and also for the 16GB + 256GB variant. Although it looks reasonable considering the improvements this device will offer. Also, we have to wait till launch events for confirmation.
The OnePlus 12 is designed similarly to the OnePlus 11. Remarkable improvements are LTPO AMOLED curved OLED display having a peak brightness of 4.500 nits, Qualcomm SM8650-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4 nm), periscope telephoto lens, Li-Po 5,400 mAh battery with 50W wireless charging (1-100% in 55 min (as per company advertisement)).
