The Oppo Reno 11F, possibly the last model in the Reno 11 series, was just released to the worldwide market. Now they are done with the Reno 11 series, the brand is focusing on the Reno 12 series, which will likely be released in June of this year. Details regarding the chipset in the Reno 12 series were revealed in the report from last week. Certain important camera characteristics of the Reno 12 series have now been revealed by a recent leak from Weibo Tipster 智慧皮卡丘.
Oppo Reno 12 series may come with a customized Sony main camera
The tipster claimed that the Reno 12 series will feature a customized Sony camera, hinting at notable improvements in the photography department. There is speculation regarding variations in image quality in comparison to previous versions, even though the precise consequences of the camera improvement are unknown.
The MediaTek MTK 24M CPU will be powering the Reno 12 underneath. It will feature a 12GB of RAM and internal storage of 256GB. It is anticipated to include a 4-sided curved glass back a 6.7-inch FHD OLED display and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Contrary to earlier Snapdragon rumors, these leaks point to the Reno 12 Pro having a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. The display and design characteristics of the normal model might be used in this, but it might also have a more powerful 50MP (2x optical zoom) + 8-megapixel dual rear camera combo in addition to a 50-megapixel autofocus selfie camera.
Additionally anticipated that the pro model will support a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
