A couple of hours back tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore and Fonarena shared Pictures of their POCO F5 phone with the HyperOS upgrade. The firmware number is 1.0.5.0.UMRINXM for this update. The update is of whopping 5GB. Because of the bug update file, we recommend users download it over WiFi or a reliable internet connection for uninterrupted download.
The December 2023 security patch is also included in this update, according to the update changelog. It is important to keep in mind that it may take some time for your device to receive it because the OS update is being released in phases. So don’t worry if you didn’t receive the update.
The latest version of HyperOS also relies on Android 14. Recall that Android 13 was pre-installed on the POCO F5 from the start of the box. Now running on HyperOS, it is the second smartphone in the Xiaomi sub-brand’s lineup.
