Xiaomi Launched Redmi Note 13 4G: 120Hz display, 5,000mAh Battery, MIUI 14 price starts at $179 

As expected, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 13 series today globally except in India. Two more devices have been added to the portfolio, making the total to five.

The series brings two 4G-only smartphones in the lineup the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro. Their chipsets are the primary difference between these two 4G phones and their 5G counterparts.

Let’s look at these LTE phones in this article. In this, we will look at the first three 5G models in Detail.

What are the Redmi Note 13 4G Series Specs and Features?

With a 6.67-inch center punch-hole AMOLED display the 4G-only Redmi Note 13 duo has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. 

Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is used to protect the display on the vanilla model, which has a maximum brightness level of 1800 nits. However, the Pro variant’s screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a reduced maximum brightness of 1300 nits.

A MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra chipset powers the pro model, whereas the basic model sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685. Both, however, make use of UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4x RAM. They boot MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13, as far as software is concerned.

In terms of cameras, the phone comes with a 16MP selfie and video call camera, a 2MP macro camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The vanilla variant’s primary camera is a 108MP sensor, whereas the pro version’s has a 200MP device.

Both of these are equipped with an IP54 certification i.e dust and splash-resistant, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a MicroSD card slot, twin stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and a fingerprint sensor.

Both devices are powered by a 5,000mAh battery. However, the pro version supports 33W charging slow charging, but the vanilla version supports 67W fast charging.

​Redmi Note 13 4G Series Pricing and Colors

The Redmi Note 13’s base variant 6GB + 128GB memory option is priced at a retail price of $179. There are two more options available in this: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The color options available for this device are Ocean Sunset, Ice Blue, Mint Green, or Midnight Black.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro, on the other hand, comes with configurations of 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. Its base variant has a suggested retail price of $250. The phones are available in three different color options i.e. Forest Green, Lavender Purple, and Midnight Black.
