Along with the rumors of launch date of Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup on January 17, 2024 another leak came about chargers.
Apart from gearing for the release of the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung may also introduce a few new chargers at the same time. According to reports, two additional chargers will soon be revealed. Samsung is expected to continue offer chargers seperately for smartphone.
The first charger with its two USB-C connectors, will be able to provide 50W of power. The second charger is an upgraded version of the Samsung 45W adaptor, with a 45W output.
The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are variations of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to be the top model when the new Samsung Galaxy S24 range is announced on January 17, 2024. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have an improved camera and a flat screen as per reports. Additionally, there are rumours that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will cost more than its other variants of S24 series.
Roland Quandt, a writer with WinFuture, shared information on upcoming Samsung fast chargers via X (formerly Twitter).
According per the leak, the first charge is the 50W fast wired USB-C charger. The second charger of 45W is an upgraded version of the 45W Samsung charger. Customers who have been waiting eagerly for 65W to 100W higher-capacity chargers for the S24 lineup are not happy with any of the two planned Samsung chargers.
The updates version of Samsung 45W charger might come with enhancement over its previous variant. It is likely that the new model would have improvements in performance, form factor, pricing, and heat management area.
Additionally, it has been observed that the 45W charger would not work with the base model Samsung Galaxy S24. As per the tip that it will only support 25W charging.
