Galaxy S24 camera issues to be Fixed by Software Update
Numerous enhancements have been made to the software as well as the hardware in Samsung’s most recent flagship, the Galaxy S24 series. Users are hoping for an update to fix a few minor camera issues they have been facing, though.
The good news is that Samsung officially confirmed the issue, and the next software upgrades will likely fix the issues at hand.
A user on Samsung’s official forum first reported the issue about the quality of the camera. In reply, a moderator said that Samsung is continuously working for improving the Galaxy S24 camera thanks to insightful customer feedback gathered from multiple sources.
They disclose that the company is actively working on to enhance color accuracy and improve the “3D effect” on comparing with the earlier Galaxy S models.
Although feedback from users indicates that the S24 cameras are far better than the S23 models, there are still a few bugs that have been brought to attention.
This involves reduced dynamic range around certain light sources in low-light settings, noise and banding in low-light skies, and moderate overexposure during the day (via SamMobile). Certain graphics were additionally reported by some users as losing detail. Hence an upcoming camera patch needs to fix these issues as well.
Although Samsung didn’t provide any timeline, these camera issue patches will likely be included in the initial software upgrades.
According to related Samsung reports, the company has acknowledged that the next firmware update will fix another issue with the Galaxy S24 series, in which users are showing concern about their screen’s inadequate brightness and improper color rendering. In this also, there is no set time frame for the update, but we assume it will be happening soon as a part of the next software upgrade.
