Turkey sells World’s Most Expensive iPhone priced at $3,400, makes More money than Apple

The exorbitant cost of Apple devices frequently makes the news. Globally, buyers are reluctant to spend between $799 and $1,599 on iPhone 15 models. However in reality, Apple wants to attract a wider audience by making affordable devices, such as the iPhone SE 4. However, there is a nation where the iPhone 15 Pro Max is sold for more than $3,400 in a marketplace where the majority of us consider $1000 to be exorbitant. Yes, Turkey continues to set a new record for selling the priciest iPhone globally. These are the specifics.

Many of us associate Caviar’s iPhone models, adorned in jewels and gold, with the title “Most expensive iPhone in the world.” Yes, these iPhones are really expensive they sell for thousands of dollars more. But those who buy them are paying for the phone’s unique, luxurious design rather than the phone itself. The well-known iPhone 15, which is available for a lot less than any Apple retail store worldwide, is what I mean when I refer to it as the “most expensive iPhone in the world.”

With the release of the MacBook Air with the M3 processor, Apple also changed its prices in Turkey. As you may be aware, Turkey is particularly well-known for having exorbitant smartphone taxes. Consequently, the impact of price increases is doubled. The 1 TB model of iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is currently the most costly variant, costs 107,999 TL, or more over $3,400, after the price increase.

To put things in perspective, this phone sells for $1,599 in the US. Additionally, in Brazil, where prices are second highest, you would have to shell out $2,800 for the same phone.

The cost of a phone does not always imply that it is a bad thing, right? It might not bother people in a nation with a high purchasing power. Sadly, this is untrue, and there are more depressing aspects of Turkey than just the cost of iPhones. Since many people in the nation work for minimal wages, it will take longer than six months to save up enough cash to purchase an iPhone 15 Pro Max. The ridiculous thing is that Apple is not to blame for these costs. Ironically, Turkey makes more money per phone sold than Apple does, due to the high tax rates in the nation as previously mentioned.
