Reportedly, the new Vivo Y200e model is in development. The smartphone had been noticed on the Bluetooth SIG certification earlier today, January 23, 2024, and is now also spotted on a well-known benchmarking platform.
Vivo Y200e smartphone spotted on GeekBench
The Chinese smartphone giant debuted the Vivo Y200 model in the Indian market back in October 2023. It seems like a new Y200 series model will be released soon. The Vivo Y200e was spotted with the model number V2336 in the GeekBench database by 91Mobiles. This number matches the one listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification page. Based on these it seems that the device may launch soon.
According to the listing, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and Adreno 613 GPU in the Vivo Y200e will support 5G connectivity. With 8GB of RAM and a customized Funtouch OS overlay built on Android 14, this chipset was spotted on GeekBench. In the single-core test the device achieved 3115 points and 8112 points in the multicore test, according to the benchmark listing. There are still many things like its design, specifications, and cost that we don’t know about.
However, because the Y200e is a variant of the Y200 series, its specifications can be comparable to those of the Vivo Y200. As you may remember, the Y200 has a big 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 800 nits of maximum brightness and Full HD+ resolution. The device is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC underneath. The Y200 has 8GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage. There is a 16 MP selfie camera on the front and a 64 MP dual camera arrangement on the back.
