Xiaomi 15 leak by DCS suggests that prices might go up

According to recent claims by popular Chinese tipster DCS(Digital Chat Station), the Xiaomi 15 may cost more than the Xiaomi 14.

When the Xiaomi 14 was first released in China, the base 8GB/256GB storage model cost CNY 3,999, or roughly $563. The Xiaomi 15 is likely to cost more than $600 in China if these rumors are to be believed.

Although the exact reasons for this rumored price increase are unknown, it’s believed that improved features and components are to reasons.

There are rumors that under the hood the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 CPU will be powering the Xiaomi 15. It has been officially announced by Qualcomm that this chip would include their exclusive Oryon CPU cores and is anticipated to have a better NPU. As a result, using this Qualcomm chipset could be more expensive than using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 that is available now.

Furthermore, the very best OLED CSOT LTPO display with remarkable maximum brightness and 1.5K resolution is reportedly included in the smartphone. There are also rumors of enhanced battery efficiency and camera module upgrades. The phone may become more expensive as a result of all these improvements.
